FanArt: Power Armor - Devil Class

A first-generation power suit of the Black Guard, the Devil armor features a gatling plasma cannon, as well as a special close combat power fist that releases a mighty plasma burst upon impact. Due to the relatively small numbers of the Black Guard, most soldiers are equipped with armor of this type, enhancing their effectiveness to that of ten soldiers. The fun thing about this image is that it was colored in Photoshop using only a variety of filters - No real 'hand-coloring' here! Pencil/Pen and Photoshop.

Very cool.. Reminds me of Appleseed for some reason. Very creative, nonetheless. And that writing in the little box thing is tech.. Kinda Matrix-esque.

:-) Dan Christensen replies: "Actually, the writing in the green box is in Aurabesh - the written language of the Star Wars universe... I can't remember what it says though o_O"

Yo man. Cool armor. Somewhat anime-flavoured, but with a nice style of it's own.

I totally know what you mean about colouring with filters in PS. I do that a lot... and I often find the results have such a natural, fluid look, it's sometimes better than "hand/mouse colouring". Much like here. Nice work.

Hello! That is some interesting armor you've got going there and that font... did you make it up or down load it?

:-) Dan Christensen replies: "I got the font from *somewhere* ... I forget where though. It's been a while since I made that drawing. Thanks for your comment ^_^"
