Cassandra Cain has been raised since birth to become the ultimate assasin, But whne she made her first kill at age 9 somethign went wrong in the mute girl.. She didn't want to do it, so she ran. Coming to Gotham City just after the Earthquake that brought the city to it's knees, the then 16 or 17 year old cassandra fell into place amongst 'Oracle's eyes' scouting for the wheelchair ridden former batgirl in a city of now law and crude fuedal kingdoms of gangs. I dunno.. something I did for the heck of it.. I will never understand why cain put her in the pink frilly dress before ehr first kill. Maybe innocence factor. BTW Cassandra has her own DC title :) Batgirl
