Okay, I don't know if anything I'm gonna say has been repeated since I didn't read a lot of the previous comments, so don't get agitated if something *is* repeated, okay?

I do, however, know that someone already commented on the torso and hands, so... Moving on...

Um... I dunno if anyone's said this... But she doesn't wear shorts, she wears a mini skirt... and also, she has these straps that go from the front of her skirt, over her shoulders, and onto the back of her skirt. She also wears gloves on both hands.

...But, if you were trying to draw her in different clothes, that's okay.

Oh, and the hair... scrunchie thing? It'd be skinnier where that is in her hair than you have it now. =3

The rest is pretty good [though that's not how I imagined her, really...]. o____O Actually, her face reminds me of a Bratz Doll... o.o;;

ADVENT CHILDREN!! Are you excited or what!? I do hope they modify Tifa's clothes so that it's not a skirt. I think it's a skirt, anyways.. (I'm trying not to see ANY spoilers.. but while on a tifa comic website I -think- I saw a pic of Adv. Tifa's face :0 )Also, for stupid people who think that The Tifster is stupid for wearing a miniskirt during battle.. uh, I dont think the game makers care. They could (And did) put the best, sweetest character in a freaking bathing suit with a thong back as fighting gear. Because they're horny Japanese guys. THEY're not going to stop and think "Wait.. this character is supposed to have common sense." Or, at least, that's my thinking. Plus, look beyond the clothes! She's a freaking fighting -machine-! wahahaha. And wait, Tifa doesn't wear a bra? There is no evidence in the game to prove that she does or doesn't. Geez. Otherwise, on to your picture, I rather like her face, it's a little blurred though. Hmm.. I don't know what hasn't been said.. But I do the same thing you do: Make characters to my own stylings. It ticks me off to NO END when people hate fanart because it doesn't look like the original artist did it.

I've seen some gorgeous screen shots; they've made Tifa very Rinoa-ish in appearance, but darker, so I can see them giving her a very serious side. Which I hope they do...Tifa needs more credit for being the tough, yet heartfelt character that she is."

she is kinda hotty I'll give you that! Tifa's right hand, a claw? By personalizing the character, you mean you put your looks into Tifa or your fantasy of how she would look? Or perhaps in this case both ? You can use more lights and therefore more shades where needed by the way. hourandahalf? hope you got something out of the class too, that's not so fast as others mentioned. like the way you worked the bust and the stomach, bit too stretchy in the waist though, is true, keeep it up and coming Laura!
