FanArt: Professor R.J. Lupin

wow this is really quite like how I pictured him! I agree with the person who didn't like the movie Lupin...Lupin's younger and doesn't have a mustache! Yecch! Thewlis did a great job of acting, though...I just have some issues with the character designers for the movie..grr.

Anyway I love Lupin, I actually like him a bit better than Sirius (Please don't kill me!). I know that because I was very sad when Sirius died, but when I pictured Lupin dying instead I felt sadder. I feel quite bad for him now, because all of his Marauder friends are either dead, or irredeemable traitors. And he has the stigma of being a werewolf. He needs some warm fuzzies in his life, and fast.

What most people don't realize is that Lupin is really at the center of the Marauders' legacy, because if not for him they would never have become Animagi.

I like this much better than the movie Lupin. Not quite the way I pictured him in the book, but it's still very good artwork.

He DOESN´T look like "other" Lupins at all...which is good! Kinda unique...

Ooh, this is good. The robes are really neat! Just those little patches of red in the cheeks and nose of an otherwise pale face make me think he's either drunk or has got a cold. Does he?

You have been very true to the book when you did this. I like that.

I don't think it looks like the other Lupin pictures I've seen at all! Wonderful job...his face looks careworn even though he's smiling...
