FanArt: Comic: Follow the butterflys

Ok, this is a comic/spoof of Harry and Ron, it took AGES, but I think it was worth it!

What a fantastic comic! Not only is it hilarious, but the art is so astoundingly brilliant! I can't wait to see more - that is, I hope you do more of these!

Hehe, very cute. Now, I don't wanna sound like some sort of old comic-artist-guru(haha, I wish!), but...I have tips! Yay!

First off, VERY nice coloring job. ^_^ Straight lines..numbering panels..all very good. Heh, I never thought of numbering panels! That would eliminate confusion, wouldn't it? yeah. *rubs chin* Ah, the possibilities!

Anyway, now for some constructive crit. *lightning* *evil laughter* ...So! With comics, a lot of the humor comes from over-exaggeration. What you could do is really exaggerate the facial expressions. Also, lines (coming from their head, or if you want to be more anime-ish, you could do sweat drops or sweat flying off them) help bring out certain emotions, like fear in this case. Backgrounds is another key thing in getting the emotion of the panel. If the characters are angry, a red background really makes you FEEL what the characters are feeling. In panel 5, I think a yellow, jagged background would show the suspense more. Heh, oh and in panel 6 I think some quivering lines coming from Ron and Harry might have helped express their feelings more. Also, I noticed the butterflies have very cute, evil faces. It would be nicer if you could see those clearer. Even if that means their eyes bulging..it doesn't matter.

*makes a paragraph for no reason* In panel 7, some running lines and maybe Harry and Ron's arms waving frantically could improve it. But hey, I think you did Panel 8 VERY well. Nice work 10

I hope that sounded more helpful than..eh..I dunno, rude I guess. I just want to help out if I can XD And, hey I draw comics all the time so I kinda just learned all of that as I went along..I'm sure you would too if you drew a schmillion comics. Overall, it's a great comic and I hope to see more from you! *jumps out of a window for a dramatic exit*
