FanArt: Old School (revised)

Here they are! Left to right I believe is Peter Pettigrew, Sirius Black, James Potter, Remus Lupin and Lily Evans. The marauders + Lily :-) I redid this picture because I wasn't satisfied with the old one. I like this one much better. Ignore the fact that Sirius' head is bigger than the others'...

Pettigrew looks too nice here..

Characters are from JK Rowling's Harry Potter series..

hiya2 I've been looking at some of your pics and I'm impressed; your figures tend to lack detail and proportion as you move downwards, but you're really good at facial expression and excellent at charecterisation; I can tell who everyone is, which is great because so often people just draw stock human faces and colour the hair and eyes in a suitable colour. Keep it up 1

:-) Rebecca Otto replies: "Thanks! I like it when I get feedback...I think, on this one, I spent a lot of the time just working on James and not so much on the others. Lily was hard. She was the last one I drew and I didn't know quite how I wanted her to look...Annyway, thanks for the comment!!"

Lily's face is really good, though she's a bit short.

:-) Rebecca Otto replies: "Yeah, she was hard. She was the last one I drew in this pic and I was really getting kinda tired of drawing by that point. Saaaaay...Is your name NapoleAn or NapoleOn? It confuses me so.. Because I THOUGHT it was NapoleAn, but then I saw it spelled NapoleOn. Are you like Napoleon Boneparte?"

Their faces are perfect! I think you could work on making their hands and fingers more slender, but who am I to talk? I can't draw them!^^ Their proportions are good. I draw people much more thin than you do. And I can't draw boys' faces very well, and your boys' faces are good. Particularly Sirius', I think his face was drawn very well. Remus is my favourite, and I think you're off to a very good start with him. ^^ I think he has curls too!

1 Rebecca Otto replies: "Thanks so much for the comment! I've been doing a lot of work with hands lately, and they're STILL hard! I can't stand them for the most part, so I mainly hide them in my pictures. Thanks for your compliment, I'm really very flattered."

Their legs looks strangely short , same with ze arms, but otherwise this is perfecto!

:-) Rebecca Otto replies: "Thanks for the advice! yeah, looking back on it, they are pretty short, aren't they?... I'll have to draw a new version."
