FanArt: BellatrixBellatrix is one of my favorit characters in the Harry Potter books...
I'm to lazy, to write why, I like her again, so I just copy a part of what I wrote in my Journal at DeviantART:
She's a strong female villian.
We don't have any of them (okey, there is Umbridge, and she is kind of creepy, but she not a real villian, just an irritating and annoying person)
Bella is... Fascinating...
She show us another side of the human personality - Blind faith.
She's belive in the cause, and will do anything for it...
(I don't say thats good. It's not! I belive people have to think for them self, but... It's interesting why some people belive in something so much, that they are willy to do everything for it...)
Besides that -
1) She killed Sirius. Sorry all you Sirius fan, but he was annoying sometimes... And I didn't like him...
2) Her baby-voice... Uhm... It's sick, and disgusting... And... I like it...
3) She's insane... Insanity is sad, but interesting...
4) When she teached Harry about the... was it's the Killing curse? Anyway, it was in that moment, I just knew that this character was facsinating... Interesting... I just adored her in that moment!
Now, before you all begin to hate me - I don't like Bella as a person, but as a character...
WE NEED MORE FEMALE VILLAINS!!!
Jep... I love female villains...
Not, up cause, the real existing female murderes (I don't like any sort of murderes etc) or people like that, but the created ones...

She is the reason not only Harry's parents are dead, but also because Neville's parents are completely insane (which in my opinion, is WORSE than death). She also uses the Unforgivable curses and inflicts mind-scouring torture on innocent people. That aside, I do understand what you mean about having more leading females that aren't squeaky clean.
