| 9 Mar 2003 | Tara 'Ice' Orlando | Hhehe. this is very cool. and you did it in watercolor. Nice job, I know how watercolors can be..grr. If you ever do another picture like this with building and watercolor try acrylic's also to help give it more texture. It still looks great, but that might help some things stand out more. | |
| 9 Mar 2003 | Amber 'Michi' Varieur | watercolored? wow neat, it looks like a mix between watercolored and colored pencils, but hey i think it looks amazing! but i had this amazing dream...it was like i was a hobbit traveling on this dirt road and we found a side enterance (lol) to rivendell...the sun shined on it in such a way that it seemed the very foundations were made of magical gold....then i turned around to show my sister this amazing beauty, and i was atached by ganon from my Nintendo 64 game 'link, ocarana of time' lol so that ended out kinda bad... were you lonely when you did this? or sad? becasue the air around it seems a little sad, or lonely feeling...but its still amazing! MUAH! amber | |
| 9 Mar 2003 | Daphne Christopher | Hehe i dont think you ever showed this one to me finished. It looks wonderful. You did a very good job with the watercolors but the white on the side bothers me. Its beautiful. | |
| 19 Mar 2003 | Natalie Paquette | Ooooh... O.o Beautiful watercolor work! I can only do landscapes with them, because then it's easier to fix mistakes (I usually just add more branches to trees or something). I realy like the feel about this one; it's somewhat... dreamlike, and solitary. Watercolors were the perfect medium for this piece, I think - it really helps to capture that feel of nature that comes with elves and elven places. | |

| 25 Jun 2003 | A. Rene 'Wyldehart' Luke | NICELY done!!! It has a very "classic" feel like anything any of the old water color masters would have done! I applaud you! | |
| 18 Sep 2003 | Katie J. Hood | I LOVE IT! Buildings are so hard for me to do. I can't draw straight lines without a ruler (sometimes not even with a ruler) because my hands shake so much sometimes. This is very very nice! I love the colors and shading - it looks very warm and welcoming. The green is very beautiful too. I love the balconies! Is that the Rivendell from the movie? Looks like it. The little ghosty shade of a person in the corner is funny. I'm guessing that this is unfinished. Touch it up, I want to see it complete! It's very good! *drools* I want to steal your talant. | |
