FanArt: Portrait of Firesun

This elf is firesun. He is an elfquest character I made long ago. I still like him. From his character he is as restless as Rayek, also searching for the high ones and all that. But he is smooth instead. He belonged to the tribe of the Colourpainters, that is why he has those coloured paintings in his face. In this tribe each elf had his unique painting. But he lost the tribe to search for where the elves came from... and he found something, a soulmate... You sure will know more about him when you rush through his gallery from time to time. The pictures are old but I still love how they are coloured, and some of them also maybe well in anatomie. I know that this one has extraordinary big huge eyes, but this was how I drew the Elfquest elves at the beginning of the ninetees. From my artwork here you can see quite good the roots of my fantasyart. I think it is still somehow like the art of Wendy Pini, but more like the Stormbringer art she did long ago, perhaps. Made with ink and coloured pencils.

Firesun was always a cutie! I like him still.

:-) Uta 'Freawyn' Hesse replies: "Hehe... really? I have another character that has the same "actor" in our Gryphon and Phoenix stories... Banboc Gulthoniel..."

It's nice the way you've used the coloures!

:-) Uta 'Freawyn' Hesse replies: "Thank you. When my friend and I back the created the Colourpainter pack we had different introductions how they should look, this was my personally one of Firesun. Each of those elfs had a different body painting which he or she used. This here was typically for Firesun, but later on he decided to look more "normal"."
