FanArt: Riddick and Kyra (colour)

If you do not want the end of The Chronicles of Riddick spoiling, look away now! This is a great big spoiler! *Sniffle*...it makes me sad. She wasn't supposed to die! No, kyra must live! Jack must live. Argh! I spent a total of 4 hours on this pic from start to finish and I'm very please with how it turned out. I did it completely in photoshop elements and it is depicting a very sad Riddick and Kyra's spirit from The Chronicles of Riddick. Don't ask why she has no clothes on...i just couldn't be bothered to draw them. Hope you like!

I'm with Amy Methven on this one. Kyra looks fine the way she is and her lack of clothing is very tastefully done. The lighting and shading on both characters is exceptionally good as are their facial expressions! To be honest, Riddick's goggles aren't off center. However, Riddick's goggles ARE slightly different in the film. The irony is, the style of goggles you gave him WERE given out as promos to video stores. But they look great and don't even think of changing a thing! It's really good work, you captured the Vin-man's musculature and body shape precisely (something most other artists miss). Btw. Gillian April's right. Very few artists do Riddick art and fewer still have your talent.

this is great but their is 1 thing that confuses me in chronicles of riddick films. How the hell does he know that woman in the prison all the women in the first one were killed after the pilot one refused to save herself (a stupid decision if you ask me) anyway this is well cool. Riddick is great
B.T.W what are them pointy headed things called

Wow. I'm just blown away. It conveys so much emotion and I just *love* it! The lighting iot divine. Augh, I just love it!

To Aidan T. Jennings: Not all of the women were killed in the first movie - remember Jack? Jack was really a girl pretending to be a boy, she got off the planet with Riddick and Imam (The 'Holy man'). In the Chronicles we find that Jack changed her name to 'Kyra'. This is the woman Riddick meets in the Crematoria prison. So that's how he knows her 2

Anyway, Gemma. This is such a great picture of Riddick (and Kyra) - it's just so realistic and like someone else said; I've never seen a picture of a goggled person about to cry - or as close as we can see Riddick getting to crying - and you've captured it perfectly!

Wow!!! Riddick looks awesome. I'm making my own Riddick piece, but it's not at all as awesome as this piece. The only thing is that Kyra's eye looks a little strange for some reason. Don't know why, maybe it's just me. Either way, this is phenomenal.

AHHH! *shakes with terror, then sighs with relief* Oh, its just Jacks spirit... Thank god, you gave me a scare, it looked sooo real...
