FanArt: Severus Snape

My fettish with Snape and coloured pencils continues! I look as this pic and sometimes I really like it and then sometimes despise it! I dunno! He looks a little like a drag queen which was not supposed to happen! (Don't hurt me if he looks terribly wrong!) I really liked the preliminary sketch but i think i've killed it. Anywho, this is a younger (about mid-twenties?) Snape. Oh and i killed his nice hair too *sniff sniff* Oh well perhaps someone will like it more than i do!

23 Jul 2004	Xandra	Loading... MY FIRST FIRST COMMENT!!! HE HE! I must do the first comment dance now first comment dance. Okee I love the hair, it's fantastic, but he looks too nice. His eyes need to be black (you know "he had black eyes, like Hagrid's, but with none of Hagrid's warmth"), and his lips need to be thinner. His head is also at a weird angle. Sorry for all the critisizing, but... well, I know it can be helpful. Gemma L. Dennis replies: "I like criticism when its helpful like yours! This pic is kind of the bane of my artistic existence! Perhaps i will retitle it as "Snape as a DragQueen!" but i will probably get mauled! He just didn't want to be drawn that day! Its all Snape's fault i tell you!"

I think it's one of the most interesting interpertations of Snape I've seen. Most portray him almost excactly as in the movies, but this is unique. Well done!!! Gemma L. Dennis replies: "Wow!
