FanArt: X-Men - Cannonball

One of Charles Xavier's New Mutants, Sam Gurthie was a simple miner from the appalachian moutains. During a cave in in the mine, Sam discovered his mutant power to generate a 'blast field' which rendered him invulnerable and propelled him at great speeds becoming a human cannonball.

Its a really nice picture, it really is - but you might want to redo the energy trail... It sort of looks like this guy is coming out of a big penis.

Besides the phallic energy trail, i really like this concept and its really well drawn.

:-) Anthony F. Green replies: "It's funny, Cannonball generally had this type of energy "explosion" trail whenever he was flying. I didn't think it looked like a penis really. I guess if you squint..."
