| 14 Apr 2005 | Robert H. Thompson | I love the construct of giving the idea of your mind loosening up, i do that by just doodling, and I love it because I make my best artwork with it. Gregory J. Boyd replies: "Believe me, it helps. Look at my Fantasy gallery. I've been lost for a while trying to understand how I work best as an artist. This "looseining" has really helped me find focus in my craft." | |
| 14 Apr 2005 | Anonymous | Hmm, sorry but i think you missed your own style here. Compared to your drop-dead-cool matrix pics this one could be a lot more abstract. He would look way cooler without nose and pupils i think. And in my opinion also the muscles are defined too much, its just not "blobby". But exept this one i really like all of your unique rubberthingie-style pics, pretty cool! Gregory J. Boyd replies: "I both agree, disagree, and agree to disagree with you on this issue. Confused? I think your right in that it is more overworked compaired to the others, however I still think it is a good piece and this needed to be done. What would a style be unless you strive to push the limits. Sometimes limit pushing works, other times you find that you've put too much into it. And finally, if you disagree with this, then I'll agree to disagree. Thanks! " | |
