FanArt: Luna Lovegood

You would not believe how long it took me to do this and I'm still not happy. First of all, I couldn't get her head positioned right. Then i couldn't get her nose right. Then I couldn't get her face thin enough (which it still isn't, which makes me so unhappy). Then I couldnt' get her skirt, then I couldnt' get her legs. Her feet are wayyy toooo small. Oi, but oh well it still looks pretty good. I got a new sketch pad and its' really junky paper, personally. I can't afford good stuff right now (I need a new job!!). Luna rocks, and I'll try drawing her more, as well as Tonks.

nooooooooooo its a completly butchered version of the other one! *cries* it hermy-luna!!!! nooooo she should be holding the quibbler not a book! her hair and ears arnt great, but i like the skirt.and the nose. but it really doesnt look like luna. sorry, im not a flamer, i left a great comment on the other picture!!!! you did get one lunaish thing right though: the earrings =D but thats it...

:-) Heather Lindel replies: "Hey, as you said before, I'm the artist. It's my choice to what she looks like. Personally, I do agree her hair is a little poofy, but we could just say humidity got to it. But It hink she's fine. Maybe her book says "The quibbler special edition" on the otherside. OR it could be a book about some sort of creature she's interested in.Please don't tell me how to do my art if you're just going to tell me that it's not up to your vision of the character (Well, unless you are JK Rowling). Everyone has their own way of seeing it. Unless it's Sirius-post-Azkaban... He is not a Johnny Depp look-a-like. He's going to be oldish, scraggily, and looks like he was dragged through rock a couple times (PS- He doesn't have a tooth brush in Azkaban...) hahaha."

I wasnt telling you how to do your work, i was just saying its not how i think she looks. If i say i think the picture looks bad, you would expect me to give a reason. When i say the reason i dont like her is because i just dont see her like that, then you say that your the artist blah blah blah. Maybe next time ill just keep my mouth shut and pretend to like it..
