FanArt: Freddy's Glove

Made my own Krueger glove for a school project. The blades look weird, but they wouldn't let me use dulled down aluminum, had to use plastic... and then trying to get the dern things to stay on >.<... Also, I didn't have any copper pipe, so I used galvanized steel to make the metal parts, then later painted them copper. Lotsa sweating in the welding room and inhaling of fumes from metallic paint and spraypaint, but it was worth it... Even though it's not quite the best match in the world, its pretty good for my first time working with METAL, let alone my first time making the glove. Galvanized steel, plastic, waaaaaay too many bonding agents to list, solder, rivets, and a leather welding glove. Freddy belongs to New Line.

Hi my name is greg and im a massive fan of freddy and i think you done a great job on the glove to be honest. I could not get anywhere near the effect that you have made on this product. You should be happy with the outcome of the glove. All i can say is congratulations and good luck in the future. x

Nice work on the glove.Especially for a first time effort. I'm a blacksmith so I am making a real Freddy glove this year for Halloween. Good luck with your future projects.

I've been making these gloves since back in the days when the movies came out.. I currently have 3. Part 1, 3 and 4. These are my favourites.
They're not easy to make if you never worked with such materials. I even argued with a sculpture teacher in college who wouldn't believe me when I said I could solder stainless onto copper.. Looser ^_^

Anyway, god job on your first try. If you want to see my Part One glove, check out putfile.com/cpu64. I have a few samples there.

Keep it up dude!
