FanArt: The Madness of Evil

Kefka is one of the creepiest characters in the Final Fantasy series. From Final Fantasy VI, Kefka was an evil clown who destroyed the world in his madness. I tried to make this portrait of Kefka as dark and evil as possible, while also being very 'creepy'. Painted from scratch in Photoshop.

oh man - I totally agree about Kefka!!! and you know... you're the first FF fan I've come across that thinks that he's the creepiest (besides myself). I don't think people truely appreciate the maddness of Kefka. the portrait is perfection.

Beautiful. I really love the mood. Suits him so.

Amazing! it's so refreshing to see a darker Kefka picture instead of a crazy mad one or one that's just plain silly or just poorly done.
mad props to you!

Beautiful is in this case an understatement.
As agreed above, the dark feel does not suit Kefka, it IS Kefka. Sure, he is like a sick comedian on sugar, but if you even think deeper than the skin, what's he made out of?
What lies there deep down in his warped mind? Laughter, joy?
No. Hatred, lust, bloodthirst, psychosis, more manias I can think of. Nothing positive. Nothing humane.

This picture, it just is. I will follow your works from now on. I hope I will see more like this.

Wow... I can't stress enough how happy this picture has made me. Being a Kefka fan ever since I first finished the game I can honestly agree with Ingen. I'll have to keep coming back for more after seeing this.

I've always felt Kefka was a bit misunderstood, since the inner Kefka was, while obviously insane, a more deep kind of insane.

I think you did an excellent job making him look dark and creepy, yet still the coloring or rather the highlights are bright and Kefka like =P
