| 15 Nov 2004 | Suzanne M. Kraus | The detailing is fairly decent. I like the veins. Although, while I won't go into it here, I somewhat disagree with the belief that it wouldn't kill him. It would depend on a lot of things. Is it a target arrow or a hunting arrow (the latter being designed to spin and rips up the target more than a simple target arrow) and the heart is necessary for pumping blood. If it's lodged in there, it will rip up the heart even more. Even if it were removed (by pushing it out through the back - pulling would cause too much additional damage) he wouldn't be getting up from it for a while. Logan's HF is incredible, but if I recall my books right, Victor Creed's is better.[/former Marvel geek] You did well with indicating the presence of motion there, and the black and white composition really makes the red blood stand out. (maybe a bit of splattering would have accented the force of impact.) Nice grasp of anatomy. If it's an older pic, I think I'll have to take a gander at some of your more recent pieces. ^_^ | |

Gilmore | Thank you. and the horrible black/white/pencil color is just a testament to my formerly horrific use of photoshop. but actually, i think deadpools HF is better than logans, not creeds. cuz i think wolvie has outhealed him a couple of times. But yes, this was done a few years ago, and i have vastly improved. heh, i created a 'sin city' style color scheme without even trying. well, thats encouraging. | |
