| 1 Nov 1999 | Tamara J.Düllberg | Huh!The background`s marvelous!Looks so real! | |
| 22 Nov 1999 | Marilyn Alice Boyle | I really like this one. I like the way you pulled the color from the background into her eyes and lips. There's also something about her expression that makes me want to know her better. She seems to be dreaming in the tranquility of this garden.Thanks. I call that her far off and contemplative look. | |
| 30 Dec 1999 | John Teall | i love her garden and the bit of woods beyond - i would be totaly at home there ... ~ | |
| 8 Jan 2000 | Tasha Kotraseva aka Isca Lox | Cool. The style is very nice and pretty, and the colour scheme is fantastic. And the background is absolutely superb.I was accentuating landscapes with my class at the time. This composition seemed appropriate for that sort of assignment. I did cheat a little; the hot pink flowers are mixed with tempra paint to cover the background. | |
| 17 Feb 2000 | | You are very talented with watercolour | |
| 2 May 2000 | Timothy J. Ferreira A.K.A Lightning Master | Wow!! These colors are breath taking. I love the detail you put into this. I'm not sure if you meant to do this or not but her lips look a little too big, but aside from that this is truly beautiful work and I hope to see more. Yep, They are too big (although they might be right for someone else). The problem with watercolor is there is no eraser. My first rendered musings of DeVia had her lower lip twice as thick as her upper lip, giving her a perminent pout. I made the upper lip to large here, but it was less evident when penciled than when it was painted. Oops. Anyway, I eventually ended up changing her entire look. | |
| 19 Aug 2000 | Marlena Cannon | Ooooh, what a great job with watercolors! I have just been getting into that medium.Thanks. It's always a control issue when it comes to watercolors. | |
| 1 Dec 2000 | Deborah L. R. Dixon | Nice composition. Great background. The water colors look great here. I'm impressed with the detail you've achieved with the medium.Thanks. Detail isn't always such a problem when you think of it as ink. I have some very small brushes and pen nibs that I often employ - although no pens were used on this one. Also, if you look at the original size, this picture has been shrunk quite a lot for computer viewing. | |
| 17 Jun 2003 | Embla. | The background is good. But the shading on her arms looks a little messy. The proportions of her face is also a little off, but that can be worked on. This shows your work is capable of development. Good luck. | |
| 6 Jul 2004 | MeliSsA | Wow, i love the backround. | |
