FanArt: Pillar

Gargoyles is the ONLY fantasy thing Disney got right! i mean they have a tendancie to mess with stories (little mermaid was no happy ending, she dies, but not by disney) i loved it as it combined so many elements of fantasy and even brought in other cultures and even fantasy written by shakesphere, and the animation was real quality (thought i pales in comparison to the detail of your image). they are now showing it on ABC family and i love watching it now that i am older and acctually understand it more. and there is something about Goliath that is very "true" i dunno, he is like a very deep character and this image captures that....and i must say my favorite episode (well one of them) is when you first meet Puck (love Puck, crazy, white haired elves get me every time) and he turns them into humans! okay i ranted enough. bye!

J. ´Kythera´ Contreras replies: "Not at all! For this *particular* sketch, I used a Pilot Precice Rolling Ball - Extra Fine. This is a rare case in which there was no pencil sketch beforehand--just ink straight on to the page, then stragight to the computer. ^_^"

What an outstanding image! The dark, somber colors and the stance you gave Goliath are wonderful, his character was so reflective, this picks up on that perfectly. I like how you have the vines coming down the pillar as well, it makes the whole thing come off as beautiful, excellent work =^-^=!
