| 27 Feb 2006 | Anonymous | To all those arguing: GW has changed it's story just about every other edition, SPACE HULK, Psychers!, Psychers Bad!, Psychers OK, blah blah. Newest fluff can be found in Index Astartes and on the GW website. Jakub is the most correct, although not completely.
Nice! Although to the Polish Avenger, although some chapters on rare occasions do kidnap people to be trained in their ranks, almost all of them, most notably the Ultramarines (whos family's have pride in having their children become SMs) take in volunteers, although most are very young and have no choice in the matter (or are Imperial Gaurd, of course, but that's a bit tricky, it's hard to grow new organs when your natural body has finished growing). Since the space marines are separate from the Imperium-No one has control over them, not even Inquisitors- People from most (not all) planets draft soldiers into the Imperial Guard.
Yes men, continue to fight for the skeleton on dialysis, he's not dead!
Can we see him then?
No, but he's not dead... really!
I don't believe you
HERETIC! *shoots*
Anyway, I love the cartoonish look. Choosing the Chaplain is great too. Perfect, it looks alot like the propaganda from the eye of terror campaign book.
| 29 Mar 2006 | The warlock | I personally prefer the necrons and the tau, but anything 40K is fine with me. this is probably the funniest pic i've seen on this site. the art is great, and the ships look like what it shows in the book.
Thought for the day "Heresy grows from idleness"
| 3 Apr 2006 | Petrifyin pete | Death to tyranids!!! And space marines!!! We will crush your pathetic armies and let the c'tan feast on your souls! Bwa ha, bwa ha, bwa ha, hahahahah! (NECRON PLAYER HERE) P.S. necron and tau RULE! | |
| 5 Apr 2006 | Anonymous | Jakub ¦widerski is right. The men who are going to become space marines never even had ime to be part of the Imperial Guard. (if they did thats why they are so bad, all these kids running around)Their maybe a United States but probably not of America. It may be the United States of the Homeworld (or what ever the name is in the future). The Emperor some how manages to unite the nations of the world to make the Imperium of Man (they may also call it the United States or United nations maybe). I dont think space marines enlist I think you just are chosen to become one. | |
| 9 Jul 2006 | rawne | Dude you can't just enlist into the space marines jeez it ain't the guard and add this on the bottom "also slathering a planet near you" | |
| 4 Nov 2006 | Inquisitor | LOL. I like it it has a certain naivete to it. The citizens of a pastoral world may well think those living gods the marines are there to protect and serve and you can just waltz up to them and ask to join. But as the learned comments here state: If they want you there is no argument you go! perhaps another poster 'Enlist in the Imperial Guard Today!' (And die on a rock somewhere forgotten) But have no doubt there is no other greater sacrifice than serving your god and master the Emperor! | |
| 24 Jul 2007 | Anna Wideman | I love how the space marine is just standing there behind them. It amuses me. | |
| 10 Nov 2007 | Lord Emoslayer | This is AWESOME! I almost fell of my chair when i saw it. The artwork is really good and i like the proportions of the space marine. Sometimes its really hard to get and you see marines with to big shoulder pads or to big/small bolters. Also sometimes the head is to small and it looks silly. But anyway, yours is really good. And about space marine recruitment, people are just chosen. Few enough people survive as it is without them wasting resources on all the weaklings who want to join and get killed in the first week. But anyway, nice job. | |
| 5 Feb 2008 | Warfan | looks great!
reminds me abaut starship troopers.
| 24 Apr 2008 | Anon | Hilarious. You just KNOW they have posters like that kicking all around the galaxy.
(Unrelated: It’s funny that someone said they prefer the Necrons and Tau, because those are the ones I hate the most. Lulz.)
