FanArt: Stsho phasing in a Kifish prison

More work based on C.J.Cherryh's Chanur/Meetpoint series. A Stsho, one of the species of the grouping of interstellar colonies known as the Compact, has just wound up in a Kif prison due to 'Gst's' bungled political machinations. Being creatures of extreme mental fragility, it is in the process of a total psychological breakdown known as 'phasing'. If it ever returns to sanity, 'Gstisi'(the phasing one) will have a new personality and a new gender...but under these deadly circumstance it is unlikely such a renewal will take place.

Or if there was something 'nnyish' about thim ... Nah, it is this pale almost transparent frailty that you captured so well here ... Like organic things look like in a very morbid state of existeince... Julia ann lock replies: "I can see the connection with Luzifer, although I think he would be a little bit hardier than these beings, somehow, and definitely much less self-indulgent. But in a way they both share a cycle of destroying themselves & coming back from that."

Julia ann lock replies: "According to the original story, that's what happened to them in a way. They were so fragile, that when they stressed out, they did so completely & even changed their sex when they 'came back'"
