A thestral, which is - *checks canon* - a black furred, skeletal-bodied, dragonish-headed, dragon-winged, fang-toothed, horselike creature. Thestral are magical creatures that remain invisible to people until they have seen someone die, and understood the meaning of what it was that they saw. Oh, it's a really good picture! 2 I just can't say that I like it _that_ much because the thestral seems a bit evil. Which they aren't...
