Hello there and thanks for visiting my site. All of my work done here is colored pencil. For the most part I prefer to use Prismacolor Pencils with the Occasional verithin. Unfortunately, some of the earlier pieces in here were done with less quality pencils. As you'll find, much of the artwork here relates to the Dragonlance Dungeon and Dragons Campaign setting, however, none of it is fan art. At this time I have no pictures of existing characters from the Dragonlance novels. I admire alot of Artists works such as Todd Lockwood's, Larry Elmore's, and quite a few more. I'd like to think that I'm beginning to develop my own style. Typically speaking I like things that lean more towards realism. I like things to look like they belong in a fantasy setting but they could still possibly exist in real life. Other than more classical or realistic style artwork I think that comic book art may have leaked in and influenced my work as well. At the moment I'm attending school to earn my degree and become and Art Teacher. The picture at the top of my gallery is a picture from my Honors Artwork class. That stuff on the table there is a section of my chainmail shirt and I'm currently sawing (yes, like a perfectionist I opted to go the slow route and use a jewelers saw to cut the links, but hey, they come out flush) link off of the steel coil. Anyhow, I hope you enjoy my gallery. Please leave comments, I check pretty frequently for them and if there are any that provoke my interest I make it a point to respond. Please limit yourselves to constructive criticisms, however.
Thanks and enjoy.
(Sometime in the future I may add a list of links to other Elfwood artists that are friends or whose work I like, that'll be later however)
