FanArt: The Last Unicorn Movie Poster

In loving tribute to the movie that changed my childhood. This is not a 'screen shot' of anything. I started out with about 3 back to back viewings of the movie and some paper... The pencil drawing resulted, which was then colored in photoshop. Due to size limitations here, this is tiny in comparison to the picture I have, and the colors just aren't as brilliant. A better quality one can be found at my website. I have about two more prints left of this picture. After that, they're all gone forever.

3 Jun 2007	S. Kennedy	Loading... There's a guy over on sell.com using part of this image of yours to sell his bootlegs of legitimate DVD's (I know 'cause I bought it thinking it was legit). The cover art is the same as the foreign version of the DVD, but inside, I recognize the images of Molly and Schmendrick from this exact work printed on the disc itself. You might want to let him know you don't appreciate that... I think it's filmshardtofind. It is an amazing piece, by the way. No wonder he stole it.

I like the colors that you used for the picture. I just finished reading the book and i love the movie. Currently I am reading its sequel "Two Hearts". Continue drawing!

I saw this piece a couple of years ago on a The Last Unicorn site and it was one of two or three pictures on the whole site that really touched me. It's my favorite movie of all time and in this picture you've really managed to capture the reason why.
