FanArt: Edward looking at us in a pissed-off way (Vol. I)

This was an experiment on a different line style. I sketched the picture in black Micron pen and intentionally made it a bit slipshod, then colored it without any real touchups—yes, I left the lineart black and intentionally ugly. Yikes!! I actually think it worked out, if only just to concrete Edward’s presence. It’s kind of a more in-your-face style, and it toughens up the lines quite a bit, while adding more fluid detail. And, to be blunt, it’s a lot easier than bustin’ your tush to keep the lines precise, smooth, and color friendly like I did in most of my other pieces. >:) It feels good to be rebellious. Rawr. And Ed looks ticked, which is…normal. Someone reach in there and pinch his cheek. I dare you.

Or as if he’s been trapped under a falling tree and must now face the arduous process of cutting off his own leg in order to escape. What would he use to cut it off though? The pointy bit on Al’s helmet? What is that even for? Maybe it’s designed to sever limbs trapped beneath trees. Who knows? Jenna 'Kaikisuka' Linn Barton replies: "...pisses me off when people eat my schnitzel. Straight up. If the tree fell on the proper leg, though, he’s have less trouble parting with it. The point thing on Al’s helmet...meh, I think you go it. Severing limbs. Really, the only logical choice."
