FanArt: Wedding Peach 1

This is an image of Momoko-chan as Wedding Peach from the anime/manga of the same name. Some people call this series a Sailor Moon rip-off, but I personally enjoy it. Momoko is very similar to Usagi, but the series diverges into it's own plot. The background is an air-brushed creation.

Wow! I love her eyes! How'd you do that?

1 Kim Wyatt replies: "Thanks. I just added a lot of details via the paintbrush tool. It took some time, but the results are quite satisfying. ^_^"

OMG!!! I thought nobody else watched/read Wedding Peach!!! And finally a good picture of her!!! Bravo I congratulate you!!!

1 Kim Wyatt replies: "It's a shame this series is so overlooked. I'm a huge shoujo anime fan so I had to chech it out. Wedding Peach is not a rip-off of Sailor Moon as some people see to think, especially those who have not seen it."

The show was actually a early version of sailor moon

12 Kim Wyatt replies: "Actually Wedding Peach is a completely seperate manga/anime series. There are a number of similarirties between the two, in fact they both share the same character designer. Wedding Peach is a great series in it's own right. Anyone who loved Sailor Moon will love Wedding Peach. I know I do"

I love Wedding Peach and Sailor Moon. I think Limone is SSOOO hot. Awesome pic.

1 Kim Wyatt replies: "Me too. You're right about Limone, so hot. I'm planning on doing a fanart of him and I'll probably upload it here."

Hmmm, great picture. I actually haven't heard of this anime', but I could get into it if I watched if its like Sailor Moon

1 Kim Wyatt replies: ""Wedding Peach" is quite similar to "Sailor Moon", but not a complete rip-off as some say. In fact the characters are designed by one of character designers of "Sailor Moon" tv series. There are plenty of cute guys as well. ^_~"

Hmmm, this picture is well made! I should look around for this show in the store, or on youtube, if some Sailor Moon peeps worked on it, it must be good. Oh, btw, not all shoujo mangas are Sailor Moon rip offs! Most have the Henshin (transformation) sequence, travel in teams, have talking animals, cute boyfriends and past lives, because those are some of the basics of the genre! I had to get that out, because I hate the word 'rip off'

2 Kim Wyatt replies: "I know what you mean, most shoujo manga follow a very similar structure. I'm a big fan of the Shoujo genre. Personally I've never considered "Wedding Peach" a rip-off of "Sailor Moon". "
