FanArt: Lord and Lady Beckett

From Pirates of the Caribbean - Lord Cutler Beckett with his (original character) wife, Lillian, sharing a quiet moment together.

I imagine that Lillian is the only person Cutler is actually somewhat soft with, and despite his conviction that women should naturally submit to men, he does adore her. If anybody wanted to hurt him, hurting Lily would probably be worse than putting a dagger to his own throat. He doesn't show it much in everyday life, but he does love her, and spoils her by sending her expensive gifts from all over the world.

Lady Beckett herself is sweet, adoring, naturally submissive to her husband (therefore the perfect little wife for him), does embroidery and waits while he husband's out doing something incredibly important. She has no idea how ruthless he can be and if she did she'd probably go in denial. And she names her son after him. I love her, because she's just the perfect wife for Cutler but NOT a Mary Sue, and otherwise unimportant to the plot as well. She's just... there, and cutely so. *snuggles her!*
