FanArt: Professor Severus SnapeIt happened! I´m infested! The reason I became a Harry Potter fan - am I really a fan? I like the novels and films, so much for that - is Alan Rickman. He´s one of my favorite actors. So I watched the first movie, then the second, then I read the novels and it happened. Snape is also my favorite character, because - he´s simply special. Not really one of the good guys, but also not completely evil. Just a human. Alright, a sorceror! *g*
I used a photo as a reference for this sketch. It´s not that well, it´s way too small for a real artwork, but I think, you can recognize him.
Update: After reading the 5th book (HP and the Order of Phoenix) I like Snape even more than before. And I´ve never thought this could be. We have kinda the same past concerning school. How weird... Just as the new rules demand: This is Professor Severus Snape, a character from the Harry Potter books. I used a photo reference on the actor from the movies. |

Have you seen some of the others?! It's an insult! Anyway, good job. He's an interesting character to draw; his features are anything but easy. For inexplicable reasons, Snape has always been my favorite teacher next to Professor Lupin. He's just...such a good bad guy. NO!! I AM NOT PHYSICALLY ATTRACTED TO HIM IN ANY WAY!!!!!!!! I must admit, I had not searched much for Harry Potter Fanart, but was lucky enough to come across valuable artworks. But maybe it is just that most of the time I can recognize in the thumbnail, if one picture is worth looking or not.

| 4 Aug 2005 | Lizard | ahhhhhhh, I love this, I've seen a lot of rickman/snape fanart but I really like this one. I've seen a lot of his movies, all the hp ones too. Have you read the HBP? I dont know what to think after reading it. Any time I see him in the movies I just start to smile b/c its ridiculous that I have the hots for someone who in real life is almost old enought o be my grandpa,(I'm 15 he is 59 as of now).
