FanArt: Harry Potter - Accio Firebolt!

A special thank you goes to David Myer (fellow CfA intern) for giving me the idea for this picture!

I'm very happy with this picture. I'm usually horrible at drawing people, but ol' Harry here actually turned out easier than the Horntail! (The world is coming to an end!!!!) Heh. If you look closely, you can see Harry's wand (black on black - stupid me) and a couple wizards waiting a ways off just in case things go badly.

Mechanical pencil and some random ebony pencil that came with my Prismas (still don't know if it's graphite or colored pencil), August 2004.

Anyway, I like your picture, even though I had imagined this scene in a big, packed stadium. The left wing is the best part. Congrats. Krystal Tyler replies: "Either they are Rowling fans or there are just way too many of us Rowling fans drawing HP artwork. ;-] I think the moviemakers imagined it your way, too, because I've seen a set picture of a "dragon's lair" crowded into large, circular stands.
