| 5 Feb 2004 |  Krishane 'Isilinde' Wyatt | You should definitely make the coloring darker...and maybe add some blue highlights on the black part of the dress...Because the fabric that was used was actually a very deep blue silk velvet.  Don't be afraid to use bolder coloring techniques. You've got some skill here, it just needs to be developed. Trust me...bolder! Make it catch someone's eye!    Abigael Casey replies: "Thanks so much! yeah, I do want to make it darker, but I just don't want to ruin what I already have. I have done quite a bit of research into the costumes from LotR, so yeah, I did realise that the dress was blue! ^_^ The 'black' part of the dres does actually have blue sheen to it, unfortunately I did the black a little too dark, and the scanner took away all the blue that was left on it. And I'll try to take your advice and be 'bolder' in my colouring! Thanks again! *Chael*" | |
| 8 Aug 2004 | Sammy | Oooohhhh! I love the colouring! (in contrast to the person above) The folds of the sleeves look spectacular! I think that it is the BG that is a little too bold rather then the dress not being bold enough! Also the mouth is a little off center! Otherwise, lovely job!  Abigael Casey replies: "Thank you!
