FanArt: Between Friends...

Kurosaki Ichigo and Abarai Renji from the fantabulous anime/manga BLEACH. While the two are 'friends' there is still some measure of wanting to prove themselves to be superior/stronger/whatever. So, to overstate the profoundly obvious, Renji is trying to challenge Ichigo to a volleyball game and Ichigo is less than ammused.

If you don't know Renji, he's introduced in episode 16, and he is my all time fav. anime character (sooo cool!!) Ichigo is the main character, and in place of a righteous air-head hero, we have a total bad-ass! How cool is that?!

sketched in pencil, inked with Macron .1, cleaned and colored in Photoshop with Graphire tablet. as you can see, i had lots of fun with filters on this one, lol.
