Hey Mandah (I know you come here to check out L.M's page, because she posted on yours), we made your gallery popular for the past 2years, and you making your crappy page private will only lead to no one posting ok!

L.M, how are you? I guess I'm a drifter now that pillsbury doughgirl has returned. I may stop in from time to time to comment on your beautiful work lol. As of now, I think I may take a little break from Elfwood (maybe).

I also think since this is a new gallery a name change for me is in order...but, I like Locke. I may stick with it, who knows.NEVAR PHEAR. You see, Ms. Mandah has replied to some of my comments before deleting them, and because I have an email attached to my name, I get an email when someone replies. The emails tell me what picture URL she's referring to, the name of the user, the original comment (mine), the reply (hers), and her email address. I see we are lol. She's 23 now, and has finally reached a 3rd grade literacy level awww. Well it looks like she has deleted her gallery, too bad, there were some good time in there. Hey piggy, great way to ruin fun lmfao!

L.M: It's good to see you are doing well. How much longer are you in the service? You know, I just turned 23 myself. I wonder when I, too, shall reach that coveted 3rd grade level? Now, now, let's not call her names. She's continuing the fun by posting here, anyway.

I have a couple more years in the service according to my contract. To anyone reading this, DO NOT ENLIST UNLESS YOU WANT TO SERVE. You see, you get these morons who think that, by enlisting, things will be easier. For example, they do it because they won't have to pay for medical care, dental, housing, and food. I heard someone say that we "make out like bandits" once we factor in that all that stuff is paid for. No no no no no no no, it comes straight from your pay. When all is said and done, unless you're an officer or higher enlisted (or married, you make more money to take care of your family), you make less than minimum wage. They look up how much they'll make as a Pvt. The average service member is an 18 year old douche bag who never worked a day in his life and just graduated from high school. So he's like, "$1200 a month? Sweet!" Maybe he has to pay for his cell phone, and he's thinking he's going to get a car, and with $1200 a month, he can totally afford payments, including insurance! Awesome! But wait, you gotta pay for your medical, dental, your BAS (Battalion Aid Station, which is like a clinic), your chow hall, your barracks, your taxes, and for your first year your GI Bill (yeah, you have to pay into that). So, when that's all said and done, Pvt Jones is left with $600 a month. Now Pvt Jones has to pay for that car payment, which is about $200. And his insurance, which is another $100 a month (at least, for a male new driver it's around $150-$200 a month). So now he has $300. And he's gotta pay for that cell phone, which at a minimum is $50. $250, why you're rolling in the dough, Pvt Jones! Don't forget rising gas prices! But wait, there's more! For SOME REASON, there are a lot of pay problems that first year, so perhaps Pvt Jones got shorted $200 this month (yes, that happens regularly, it just happened to two PFC's this month that I know of).

Me, I went to college for 5 years (started at 16). I have a degree. I'd be making $25 an hour working 4-day work weeks (3-day weekends!) if I didn't enlist. And because I went to school for 5 years, I have bills to pay. Plus my car, insurance, phone. Some people ask why I didn't become an office, since I already have a degree (officers must have a degree), and I tell them that I didn't want to work behind a desk (ironically, that's what I do now, but they can move me...whereas if I were an officer, my first and foremost concern is paperwork). I tell them that I left a lucrative job sitting behind a desk because I hate desk work.

You just have to want to do it, and there's plenty more important than money. PLENTY.

For the rest of your questions, we live off base. Your cousin has a crappy job, which is why he works in 12 hours shifts. There’s good and bad to that. Usually, it’s 12 on, 12 off, 12 on, 24 off, so you end up getting more time off in the long run, but because you’re there for 12 hours anyway, it still sucks. "
