FanArt: Jieir'a Shak'on

Though she's not going by that name just yet. Jieir'a is my bounty huntress SW alter ego. And she rocks. And she's cool.

She was orphaned at a young age and was raised in the family of an Imperial officer. After the New republic was established and Jedi were once more beginning to throng the universe, Jieir'a, along with her foster family, relocated to one of the remaining Imperial worlds, wher they lived somehwta peacefully for several years.
Then, when Jieir'a was sixteen, the world was taken by the New Republic, and her family was forced to flee. Jieir'a remained with her foster father to the last, defending their home from what they called 'rebel rabble'.
After watching her surrogate father die at the hands of an undercover Jedi, Jieir'a shot three of the 'rebels' but was taked into custody. She escaped from a juvenile detention center on Coruscant and, after establishing herself a solid reputation as a ruthless hunter-for-hire, found somewhat permanent employ under the Sith Lady Darth Razea.
However, Jieir'a goes back and forth between working for the 'good' guys to the 'bad' guys and back again several times.
Pencil on vellum. Btw, that's a lightsaber burn on her leg ;)

That wound looks painful!! Great costume and pose! Gotta love the Jedi!

:-) Linda Lindqvist replies: "Love jedi? That's not in my job description. I'm supposed to be working for two Sith ladies...they wouldn't appreciate my sympathizing with the other side lol."

I like the sketch better than the colored version, but both are nice. This is a very, very nice pose; I don't think I could pull it off. I love how you've drawn the legs, the pose does seem to fit. The hands may be a little (and I mean, just a little) small, but they are well drawn and aren't awkward, so that's okay =]

nice job.

:-) Linda Lindqvist replies: "Considering they're both at least a year old, I don't really like either of them anymore... Maybe a redo is in order. I'm kind of out of it with Star Wars after EpIII, though........... so maybe not X|I actually try out a lot of the poses in my art. When I'm alone of course, lol. My excuse for the hands: I have small hands, therefore I draw small hands. I can see what you mean though. Maybe they're smaller since she only has four digits, I dunno. Thanks so much for commenting!"
