FanArt: Shinnok, ruler of the Neatherrealm, wearer of silly hats

Shinnok from Mortal Kombat 4. I tried out a new technique and I think I like the result. Can somebody tell me what's wrong with the hand? It somehow doesn't go with the face, but I can't figure out what it is.

First off, the pic is amazing so don't take this as criticism.

Second, his/her face looks like the face in the magic mirror in Disney's "Snow White".

Shinnok! The only reason I could tell that was Shinnok was with that crazy hat thing and the color. However, besides that, the hands look as if they are bigger than they should be. There is nothing wrong with the thumb, mine looks like that 1 If you have any questions or wanna contact me go to www.emailisaac.tk

This is so awsome... the hand thingy... the diference of the lines and the fact that the hand's flesh and fingers dont quite mold into the face (a hand rather molds itself to the fact to fit in)(ummm...yes i was redundant...srry)(point is: too much of the fingers show) plus the position is rather unconfortable ar face level without tilting the head a bit...
other than that hand the picture is so awsome... even the awkward hand... I really like the colours, so true and bright, and the face is so nice and expresive!!!!

The hand is tilted wrong andf looks like it is coming out of nowhere.

The hand looks wrong cos a) it's too big, and b) the lines around it are thicker than the outlines on the face/body. Both these things make it look as though it is in the foreground. Plus what they said about the flesh moulding thing. Cool picture though. 1

This is great. I think I see why you think the hand looks odd but I didn't notice anything wrong till you mentioned it and i still don't think there is anything wrong. But I think it is because the edge of the face doesn't have a hard line it blends with the face but the hand has hard lines that stand out againist the skin. Do you understand what I'm trying to say...Hope I helped you out. Other then that (which isn't noticable unless you look for it or your of chourse the artist)it is an awesome drawing keep up the good work.
