This is a very poignant and lovely interpretation.

Love the expression on his face. Sad, desperate and lost. It doesn't seem to have the determination and twisted joy that the FMV had, but still conveys the other emotions Sephiroth would of felt regarding his mother.

Though I've never got the weird metal statue that protects Jenova's tank. Is it just for protection? Shinra could of simply used a big metal wall or something, just wondering why they'd go to all the effort of making it real pretty. Maybe Hojo insisted on it, he does seem a bit infatuated with that alien specimen.

My one quibble is that Sephiroth appears a bit too lanky, especially in his arms... but other than that I really enjoyed looking at this picture.
