| 10 Oct 2004 | Steven; a fan of sci-fi art | Hello Deike. I noticed a few days ago that you finally got your fan gallery up and running. I'm still on Heather Harmon's and Topher's galleries but I'll be sure to check out at least one of your fan pictures per day. I'm still waiting for my pictures to arrive from Michigan so that I can send digital takes of them to Eliza for review. I'll be sure to let you know if she approves them for a fan gallery of my own. Oh, and an independent TV station in Phoenix picked up Andromeda again. I missed part one of the season premier episode but at least I can tape part two and the rest of the season. I hear that it's going to be the show's last season. I haven't found any fan art of Andromeda on Elfwood yet. Have you considered doing some art based on the Andromeda characters? I remember you mentioning that you're a fan too. Deike 'Luzilla' Pintat replies: "Hi Steve! Great that at least one of us can see Andromeda again ;-) And I've never thought about doing Andromeda fan art... I think I would mess it all up if I tried to draw one of the characters! And I'm sorry that I still didn't find time to read your chara descriptions, but I cought a cold and now I'm feeling too ill to go to school, so I have time for it the whole day ..." | |
| 9 Dec 2004 | Steven P. Love | Hello Deike. I know that you're probably busy with school so I decided to leave you a message here feeling that you'd probably see this before the email I sent you, especially if you've gotten backlogged in unread emails. I wanted to check to make sure that you received the last email with the colored Dagger picture I did for you. I'm kind of anxious as to how you'll like it. I also wanted to let you know that I'm still waiting for the Mods to approve my Fan Art. For some reason my ticket status is moving very slowly even though the ticket lock expired back on the third of December. You may want to check my personal gallery through the link on my Home Page from time to time. Any new art will go there first before it'll appear on Elfwood. Oh, and one last thing, I was invited to join "The Garden" by Anneke Hut. She was impressed by my unique style and encouraged me to enter some of my works in the site's art duels in which artists challenge each other with the winner getting the most votes from viewers. I'll be putting a link to it in my personal gallery shortly. Keep in touch! Deike 'Luzilla' Pintat replies: "hey, Steve. School really is taking away my time, but now I've got holidays! I answered your e-mails (at least I hope I got all), and yes, I got the colored dagger picture! The ticket is already waiting... Congratulations that you've been invited to the garden! I've never heard of it, but I'm going to check it out! Greetings...... Deike" | |
| 12 Jan 2005 | Steven P. Love | Hello Deike. I noticed that your Dagger pictures are finally up. They must have just gone up just today because I visited your gallery yesterday and they weren't up then. The only significant difference I can see is that our styles of color selection and shading are a little different. But your work is rapidly improving so don't stop. If there's anything else I can help you with let me know. Oh, and I just acquired that GIMP program that you used. It's controls are different from my Microsoft Picture It 7.0 but I noticed that it had many of the same features and tools. I may end up using both for different tasks. Deike 'Luzilla' Pintat replies: "hey steve! I was actually just writing a mail to you I hope you'll be satisfied with the GIMP, it really works very well. " | |

| 24 Apr 2007 | Benedict T. Isaac | I just don't know what to say. I'm surprised to see Albion fanart here. I never thought I'll ever see another fan anywhere. Looks like I was wrong. | |
