Ria Jae Bond replies: "OK, to sign up, follow the side toolbar to the Elfwood start page, then click "Join Us". Just follow the directions... It'll take a while, but you should get through without any problems if you follow the rules! Here's a few pointers: You'll have to have an e-mail address--- also, an important point is that you MUST have a gallery or original sci-fi/fantasy art before you're allowed to publish any fanart. Also, you may only publish as many fanpix as you have published original art, and the fanart gallery limit is 25 pictures.

I understand completely about parental restrictions!! *hug* If you can't get onto Elfwood (or even if you can!) you might want to try to sign up on Deviantart: http://deviantart.com . They have almost no restrictions, and are much quicker. I spend most of my online time there coz it's easier to keep track of pals, but I'll admit that Elfwood is waaaayyy better for browsing. Sure, I'd love to be penpals! Snail mail or e-mail? You can e-mail me through the link on my main page--- it says something like "Contact the artist". That way, neither of us has to give out our addresses over the net. =D I look forward to seeing your art! "

However, you can draw Actors as the fantasy characters they have played in films. Like Orli as Legolas, or David Bowie as Jareth. Sad, but true.
