| 22 Oct 2004 | Celend | Oh! Tomoe is so beautiful! You really are an artist with great talent. Keep it up, Girl! Malisa 'Jasmine' Savanh replies: "ooh arigatou! i think tomoe is one of the most beautiful and haunting characters, there's such an ephemeral quality about her. thank you for such a wonderful comment, it is greatly appreciated, i will always continue to try my best and draw." | |
| 29 Oct 2004 | misaoshiru <megansworldrules@yah | I love it! Very well done. I can't draw real people. At all. XD Malisa 'Jasmine' Savanh replies: "real ppl are so hard to draw...but i've been practicing a lot and i'm getting much better at it. i'm so glad you like it, and i'm sure if u practice you can draw in a realistic style, that's all it takes: practice. ^_^ thx for commenting!" | |
| 23 Dec 2004 | Tenkingdom fanatic | her face... its elegant and shows so much emotion. it expresses when she first met him (even tho she was drunk...how bout if she had met him wen she WASNT drunk LOL) the sadness that she felt when she saw him..blood splattered everywhere. or how she looked before her death. watching him kill and fight for her. *~bleeding petals...aka megera/RK expert~* Malisa 'Jasmine' Savanh replies: "what thoughtful comments, u really drew a lot from this pic and interpreted her expression in the way i wanted her to be depicted ^_^ thx for commenting, it's always a joy to read them" | |
| 28 Dec 2004 | Tenthkingdom fan heh | i really do agree w/ what someone said.....(on diff pic) tht ur art does have a certain beautiful charm if it doesnt have a backround.....i guess it makes the person look more at the main part rather than the backround because it can b distracting. n e who luffs it Tomoe from rp: O.O *sees kenshin w/ no shirt* wow.... Malisa 'Jasmine' Savanh replies: "hehe, we'll haveta continue our RP if I ever get online again. sry for the absence, i've been so busy! neways, thank u for that comment, it really means something to me and i don't feel so bad about not putting backgrounds ^_^ i guess u're right, no other distractions in the pic, tho it could also be a bad thing cuz then all the focus is on that one figure (or two) and then the mistakes are more obvious! *gasp* " | |
| 22 Apr 2005 | BungeeKyo | Very nice, I like how you drew her and the border and flowers are wonderful. And, ACK, it's katakana! Darn, I can read hiragana, but I never got around to memorizing katakana.. Malisa 'Jasmine' Savanh replies: "wow...i can't even read anything remotely japanese. I commend you *clap clap* no one ever really comments on the border...you notice the thing that i'm most proud of ^_^ thank you. " | |
| 26 Aug 2005 | Ick | Wow...U should draw more ppl. ^^ Malisa 'Jasmine' Savanh replies: "seems like that's all i ever draw, but i do enjoy it! thx for commenting!!" | |
| 13 Mar 2006 | Norma Peters | Very nice! The face is expressive and beautifully shaded. I love the decorative frame - it's a lovely addition to the portrait. Malisa 'Jasmine' Savanh replies: "thank you very much, your comments mean so much to me, i'm glad you liked this picture " | |
| 28 Jun 2006 | Osuke | This beautiful portrait leaves me breathless. Her eyes, they are so real. I can sense here sadness, and looking into her pleading, dark eyes it is almost as if at any moment she could start to cry... :'( This is truly a work of art! Malisa 'Jasmine' Savanh replies: "...and you truly have a gift with words. that comment is gonna make ME cry *sniffle* how beautiful, what praise! thank you thank you!" | |
| 31 Jul 2006 | Cat <schneider@tre...de> | she looks so real and sad. Its a great picture;P Malisa 'Jasmine' Savanh replies: "thank you so much! that's the expression i was going for " | |
| 28 Nov 2006 | Osuke | Quite frankly I must admit that when I wrote my first comment here earlier, I did not have the slightest idea whom you portrayed, lol. I simply liked this face! #v_v# shame on me! ^^ But one week ago I saw the Kenshin OVA and then I got wiser...I felt now I should let you know that now that I know who this girl is, I like your portrait even better! You captured her ever so sad looks brilliantly! I think Yukishiro Tomoe is a very inspiring character, and since I watched the OVA I have been drawing her quite a few times myself. ;-) | |
