FanArt: Vash the Stampede

This guy needs no introduction. The Christmas drawing for Jenny, and I hope she'll like it. I spent over a month working on it on and off. It is on 14x17' paper (huge for me) and drawn with a .5 mechanical pencil, except for the eyes which were done with Prismas. Sorry about the line going through the middle, but I had to scan it in two pieces. I hope you enjoy it--it is a mixture of anime and my own style, so tell me what you think! I know the wing is cliche, but I wanted to bring out the idea of the angel arm/innocense, plus make it a bit jagged to show the pain he's been through.

19 Apr 2006	Michel	Loading... This looks really good. But it has some minor weaknesses. I think the face is a bit strange and it looks a lot like sephiroth (no, that's no weakness). But the wing is simply eye-candy and the shadows (especially on the cape) are beautiful. ps: bent u nederlands Heather 'HAM' McCaslin replies: "Thank you. Before I had read the text about your pic, I thought like, omg!, He forgot to draw the other wing! xD I really like it, just one thing, the wing and the guy ( the body and everything ) look like you have drawed it in difrent styles.. that was a wery bad way to explain it xD My English is'nt so good^^ Well I like you pic!
