I had a thought the other day. Suppose that Jack Sparrow didn't look exactly like the actor who played him, because all actors have faces they can only change in limited ways. So what if I identified how they had changed his face to have him be Jack Sparrow, and then drew a picture of what Jack might have looked like if they had decided to make PotC a cortoon movie? This picture is the result. I did use references for the clothing, but this picture is more to represent what I think of when I think of Jack Sparrow. Slightly different boots, no coat or hat, take away half the elaborate dreadlocks, slightly change the scarf, tone down the handsome factor a little, take away the random draping belts and rags and things. Wha-la. And I made him stern because he's miserable for three fourths of the movie, yet everyone always makes him smiley. Well, not everyone. But anyway.
