FanArt: Kaze no uta

I hated Nuriko when he first appeared in Fushig Yuugi. I seriously did. I just wanted to kill him and thought he was a serious bitch. But as the series went on, I grew more and more fond of him. He's one of the most amusing gay/bi persons ever in anime, and he really develops during the series. And man, ep 33... my entire week was ruined because of that. But I do love his image song, Kaze no uta, that they play at the ending of that ep. The lyrics are so beautiful, and Nuriko was just the sweetest guy ever. I'm glad he was in the OVAs too, he's so cute in Eikouden! Anyway, here's Nuriko atop of the mountain. I sat yelling at my friend for about 5 minutes or so because she didn't warn me... either way, it is a simply gorgeous picture, exceptionally well done. Now I have to go back and watch the series again...

I was browsing your gallery and it seemed to be mostly IY work (I enjoyed all of your Band of Seven pieces, by the way, they're excellent stylistically and plus, I love them) but then I get hit smack in the face with this Nuriko picture. And I know what you mean too. In the beginning I wasn't that huge of a Nuriko fan...but seriously, the poor guy. This scene always makes me tear up, and you've captured it beautifully. Thanks for sharing this.
