FanArt: Me and my shadow

Shikamaru has turned out to be my fav Naruto character. He may be a lazy ass, but he's a lazy ass with style. Not to mention that he kicks ass in the chuunin exam. So I wanted to draw him. I sketched this up at work over a month ago, then it was kept away for several weeks before I inked it, then I've been working on it in Photoshop. I had so much fun with the brickwall and the graffiti here! Can you believe I didn't use reference for Shikamaru? I managed to get his face right while working and on the phone! Done in Adobe Photoshop 7.0 Shikamaru belongs to Kishimoto Masashi

FINALLY!!! i love this guy, he's one of the coolest characters in Naruto, his power is AWSOME!! yay for the shadow manipulation thing!(it was so cool when he beat Kin with it.. hehehe) i feel kinda sorry for him though, he just wanted to live an average life as an average Ninja but his shadow powers wont let him...or something like that... i was kinda worried he'd die or something in the exams because compared to some of the others he just seemed like a plain normal guy who complained alot... but he pulled through^^ yeey! looove the way ya drew him, so pretty(especicially the shadow on the wall.. i just stands out to me alot ).. hee.. YAY FOR SHIKAMARU!!

Also, it's surprising how you could draw this well without another picture or something like that. I could NEVER draw something like that without one myself! Good work!
