FanArt: G'DAY, MATE

This is a scene from the Discworld novel 'The last continent' featuring Rincewind the failed wizard and Death. Ok, and a sheep and a meat pie floater. Terry Pratchett is a genius.

I haven't read that book, but maybe I should, because this pic is really funny. It made me laugh out loud! What a weird situation... it fits my weird sense of humor. Very nicely done 2 Fred> Héhé, Thank you! That book is indeed very funny, as well as all the other books of the serie. It's really worth reading!

OMG! LOL, that's so funny! I'm Australian and I never would've thought of wizards having cork-hats too! (Actually that's a stereotypical image sometimes unknown to all the tourists, but no-one, and i mean no one! actually wears cork-hats*or fequently throws a boomerang, and as for digeridoo, only men are allowed to sue them because it if a women does, she supposedly (traditionally) can't have children..........weird!

So great picture, and well done!

[*ell, maybe a few people in the northern territory, little more 'bush country' there, but i'm making a point here 10])Fred> Thank you for liking that picture!!! When I read the book, I did notice a lot of things were stereotypical, but I didn't know that actually people with cork hat did exist. I had to figure out how it could look like by myself. But I learnt quite a lot of stereotypes by reading the book. About drinking lots of beer, shaving sheep and the like... And even about food, as they mention the meat pie floater (In pea soup) as a local speciality. (That's what is meant to be in his plate) And some vocabulary... No worries, mate! 12

That's awesome! I just finished reading that one, glad to see there's some decent art for it out in the woods. And I can't decide which one is more adorable--Rincewind, Death, or the sheep! 12
