FanArt: The Pride of Hogwarts!

I'm sure there's at least one other Harry Potter fan/band geek out there who'll get a kick out of this. It's a concept sketch of a member of the Hogwarts marching (well, flying) band. I tried to combine the traditional wizarding robes and hat with the classic band accessories. See the next picture for a detail of the instrument she's playing.

Marching BAnd Freaks rule! I should know I'm one of them! I'm a drummer and I would fly and drum at the same time!

He He He! I Love it! If we could do this at the U it would give brand new meaning to the term "the worlds first alternative marching band!" Yay! can you imagine band camp though! sure we would all be sitting but I can't imagine sitting on a broom would be very comfortable. I bet people would bring special broom seats that would clip on to the broom for more comfortable sitting (of course these wouldn't be allowed for performances (Hey! I'd be the first one out there with one, that and my camel-back!)) and Reese would then feel okay about keeping us out in the hot blazing sun for even longer because we weren't actually marching. . . . Am I over analyzing? Anyway, I LOVE the picture!

PS. I think we would mark time using magic! magic taps! Mr. Beat!. . . no wait that would be different.

Ummmmm.... one question. If a dragon decided to take a dump in the midle of a parade, would you have to fly through it?

Awesome pic!!

FWEEEE! I love this pic! I'm a total band geek and HPfan (Go me). I happen to be on the colorguard (Flaggie tossing people) And I was thinking that you could do some pretty fun tosses off a broomstick...hmmmm..the flag might hit the broom and the rider would fall off, but in the world of HP, who cares!!! 2 I totally agree with Lisa about the whole marking-time think, heheheh!

Eeek! This pic is too funny! I'm in marching band (which I used to love) and I hate our stupid uniforms. I'd kill to be in a "Flying Band" muhahahah! I would rock my sax on a broomstick!

Meh! Funny!! Feild shows would be awsome!!! It's like a 3D movie! What an ingenious idea. As for parades, Snowbunny brings up a good point...Hopefully we'd stay further back than that...
Love the instrument, love the idea! Keep it up!
