Here's proof that my best drawings happen when I draw with no specific idea of what I want to draw. I'm extremely proud of this one, to the point where I'm scared I'll never be able to match this! I don't like Arwen all that much, but she's just so pretty I have to draw her. The biggest problem I have with her is the fact that her eyes don't match.

Some, but nothing as good as you. Try to add shadows to the face. Shadows help everything. Nathalie Ouellette replies: "Thanks for the comment! It's encouraging. 10 Jan 2005	Shikala Uzuki	Loading... When I first saw this thumbnail, I thought it was Princess Zelda. I didn't realize until I saw this sketch how similar they are. Very nice. I didn't realize how large it was, and THAT'S hard to do. When I draw eyes, they always get messed up--different positions, heights, sizes, shapes. >.< Overall, nice art. Portraits are really difficult, and this is really well done.
