Nicole Tyson replies: "Actually I made Black Diamond up. She is a fav character of mine. I really like her strong personality, and just the way she is, it is kinda like an alter ego of mine you might say. I got the idea to make her up from listening to a song called 'Black Diamond' sung by the rock band KISS. The song just gave me the idea as I was listening to it, and it somehow made sense towards my idea for a character. I wanted a strong character, who had a rough life, yet is struggling in life to get what she wants, and won't take no for answer, or let things run over her. And better yet let the character be a struggling singer, so she became that. So then came the idea of the character, the name, and then her powers, and it all just fit perfectly. So there you have it, she became my spidey character, and I liked how she turned out. " | |
