FanArt: Destiny

This is Dream's older brother, Destiny. He has always fascinated me. The picture started as a sketch in an art history class. When I came home the picture was still swirling in my mind. I made the picture as a mixture of collage paint and glue, to capture the Sandman-ish style. I think i managed it quite well.

This pic is catching my heart... because Destiny's the name of my unborn child that has been killed ... because of several reasons, you probably understand... Love the theme... I recordnize it deep within... Lot's of facts I considered by giving the name...

I used to read some Sandman comics, but that was nearly ten years ago. However, those covers were so awesome and SO not what you expect from a comic. THis is awesome too and belongs on a cover!

YES! *Finally*, there's a Destiny picture up...no one draws him, though there's tons of Sandman art. Always Dream or Death or Delirium.

And it's a good one, too. ^_^ It's a great picture. The textures really are amazing, and the background rocks. I love the binding over the eyes. Lastly - love the use of color. *whistle* Lovely.

Ooooooooh Sandman fanart! *squeals* Not nearly enough around here considering how popular it is. (Is it popular? It better be.) The texture of this picture is brilliant. Paint and glue? That's totally sweet...

My favorite of the Endless 18. I really like the ethereal style. Definitely deserving.

I think he has something wrapped around his eyes, making him blind, represents how you can never know what your destiny is/was... Wow... That is the deepest thought I've had today... well... Except for this: IMMORTAL LUNCH BOX!! ^.^ That's been on my mind a lot, lately... ;P I'M A PSYCHO!!! FEAR ME!!! O.o

Jenny, they're technically anthropomorphic personifications. But we'll leave it at that, eh?

It's great. I'm surprised there isn't more Sandman fanart out there.
