FanArt: Parvati Patil

From Harry Potter & the Goblet of Fire - chapter 23: The Yule Ball. 'Parvati was waiting for Harry at the foot of the stairs. She looked very pretty indeed, in robes of shocking pink, with her long dark plait braided with gold, and gold bracelets glimmering at her wrists. Harry was relieved to see that she wasn't giggling'.

The point of comments is to give positive AND constructive criticism. Some people could be a bit less harsh, because I seriously doubt they could draw any better, but there is room for constructive criticism.

And Patil can come from any part of India. It's a variation on the name Patel, which in hindi is the leader of a small village or tribe. (Yeah, I'm Indian and Patel is my last name.)

She needs to be less red sorry i m a critisizer i allways am since i think people should know what they can fix since nothings perfect and i know i love drawing but i always find things wrong for later use. On the patil matter drop it! im a south indian and my great grandfather had that surname ok now just drop it it's annoying we're here to comment on the artwork which is pretty good except find some more indians that you could look at first.

HI ! someone had asked is parvati from different culture. Yes, she is a indian, so am I. And Indians i.e. average indians...are genrally a wee bit darker that Kareena Kapoor, and less dark than Bipasha Basu. Patil is Indian. Sure, she is an Indian. That picture dosent describe an Indian perfectly, tho otherwise is good.
Chk it out, you will find any where that PADMA AND PARVATI is Indian. Parvati means an Indian Goddess.

I will be honest, it is not at all like I pictured her, but then again, I have trouble picturing some of the characters at times. So I am glad I have a bit of a picture. I think the picture is amazingly beautiful!

I think this is great 2 Love the colour of the dress. Truly shocking pink! The only thing I can think about is that the head is just a tad bit too big for the body. Makes it look a bit strange. Keep up the good work.
20 Dec 200745 I am awsome
That's not really how I pictured her, but the pic. pretty nice!
