FanArt: Godric and Salazar

I noticed no one drew the house founders. So I drew one. I'm a Godric and Salazar fanatic. I'm rather fond of them. The snakes are not for Slytherin. They represent treachery. The crow guiding them represents war and feuding. Its a slight Book 5 spoiler. I hope you like it. [pencil, pen, adobe 3.1] [hp; godric/salazar]

*wizzles* Nice drawing. Great use of colors, very nice. And I love the sybolism you used in here. I love the way Goderic Gryffindor looks, he has a really classic midevil look. And Salazar, very evil indeed. Great job, keep it up.

Gryffindor looks like a lion, too. I am sure that was intentional. I would have expected the same about Salazar, since you did it for Gryffindor. He looks like Snape! I like the whole concept as well as the frame. Very well done. Kudos to you.

wow. I'm agreeing w/ everyone else, Godric really does look like a lion and Salazar looks a bit like a snake!

Very cool! Love the idea, the slightly anthro look of the two founders. Well done! And the colros are great.

I love this. The snakes, also, are incredibly awesome!

I love that crow... and the whole picture, and the little fanfiction you wrote of them... and the snakes.

Ah... damn you.

:-) E. Fitzpatrick replies: "Ah, yes. Godric and Salazar are grand and brilliant and smashing."

Hmmmm... I guess that it soesn't matter that you spelled 'Godric' incorrectly. Not to be nitpicky, it is a wonderful picture, I'm just surprised that it's gone unnoticed for so long... or has it?

3 E. Fitzpatrick replies: "Thank you for noticing. I'll fix it right away. I'm surprised I hadn't noticed."

Wow, brilliant! I love this picture. Both Godric and Slytherin look just as I had imagened. Godric looks like a fluffy, bit thick witted warrior, very friendly. And Slytherin...welll, obviousley the one with the brains, probably a bit shy, highly ambitious with a lot of darkness in him. He reminds me very much of Mordred in the film 'Mists of Avalon'.
Great picture, really. I love the way you show their personalities, how different they are. And yewt once they were friends...The symbolic frame is awesome too!

11 E. Fitzpatrick replies: "I'm so flattered you think so. I am rather proud of this picture."
