FanArt: Eyes

This was done as a title cover for my Harry Potter fanfic that I am writing... I was trying to go for a 'lifeless' shine in Harry's eyes, but I'm not sure if it worked....

*first comment dance* I think you got the look right. Very nice with just the eyes colored.

:-) Pamella Marie Moorhead replies: "Thank you *huggles* sometimes it's hard to tell if a picture turns out, when it's 1 am..."

I'm not sure if you got the look right, but nevertheless, this is gorgeous. I'm not a big Harry Potter fan, but this really is remarkable. It looks much like him. Beautiful job.

:-) Pamella Marie Moorhead replies: "Thank you *hugs and offers cinnamon hearts* I used this as the preview picture for one of the chapters of a fanfic I am writing (my first one ever) that can be found on my Sheezy Art gallery (linked to by the "My Gallery" button). I have more of my art there then here"

Did u draw th glasses or add them on later???

And hiw do u get the eyes so stright mine are always lopsided???

:-) Pamella Marie Moorhead replies: "I put the glasses on after I scanned it. I can't draw them straight either, so I sent the picture to Microsoft Paint and added them in that way using the circle tool. It took a while to get them both in the right spots, since the one I have doesn't like to showq you right where the circle line will end up until afterwards. I started with a single pixel line, and went around and painted in a second pixel to get them that thickness. Yes, I know I cheated, but I know it looks better this way then if I tried to hand draw them."

Your Harry looks totally better than the real one....I mean in the book. The picture...the fake one!! Geez. Don't even know what I'm saying here. Love the eyes. Green!! Woohoo.

1 Pamella Marie Moorhead replies: "I get what you're trying to say *chuckles* and thank you for the compliment."

I love it apart from the fact i think that you should do the hair a bit darker and the glasses a bit lighter. Other than that it's totally catchy.

:-) Pamella Marie Moorhead replies: "The hair was done in pencil crayon while the glasses were added in after through paintshop.. that's the reason why it looks like that."

Eh im not a very big harry potter fan but i love his eyes

:-) Pamella Marie Moorhead replies: "Thanks... after I drew the eyes, I stopped, since I knew that drawing any more in this pic would only ruin it."

This is a brilliant pic. You've got the lifeless shine in his eyes just right - no shine at all would make it look unreal, too much shine would make him look happy. Well done, it's hard to accomplish.
